Lee Hall, located in the former Warwick County, was named for nearby Lee Hall Mansion which was built in 1859 as the home of Richard Decatur Lee, a prominent local farmer who was not directly related to the famous Confederate General Robert E. It all makes for interesting gossip and intrigue but in all the years we have visited antebellum houses we have never witnessed a true-to-life ghost story.Lee Hall is an unincorporated town located in the extreme western portion of the independent city of Newport News in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. The inviting location, with its abundance of game and fresh water, had attracted bands of Native Americans as early as 1,200 BC. Surrounded by prime farmland, the house is situated atop a little knoll with a spring at the base. Endview was designated as a Virginia Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The property also has been used for military reenactments, including events related to the 225th anniversary of the Siege of Yorktown which was held in 2006.
